Biography
Nina Meurisse (born 14 November 1986 in Caen) is a French actress. Trained in music and dance at the Caen Conservatory and later in dramatic arts, she made her first film appearance as a teenager in Saint-Cyr (2000). She went on to collaborate regularly with Swiss director FrĂ©dĂ©ric Mermoud, notably on the feature film Partners (Complices, 2009). She pursues a career alternating between theatre, cinema, and television. In 2019, she gained widespread recognition for playing the title role in the biographical film Camille, winning the Valois for Best Actress at the AngoulĂȘme Film Festival and the LumiĂšres Award for Best Female Revelation. On television, she has appeared in series such as Volcano (Mixte), B.R.I., Black Hearts (CĆurs noirs), and La FiĂšvre. In 2025, she won the CĂ©sar Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in The Story of Souleymane (L'Histoire de Souleymane).
