Jonathan Howsmon DavisĀ (born January 18, 1971), also known asĀ JD orĀ JDevil, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician; he's the lead vocalist, frontman and bagpipe player forĀ nu metalĀ bandĀ KoŠÆn, which is considered a pioneering act of the nu metal genre.Ā Davis's distinctive personality and Korn's music influenced a generation of musicians and performers who have come after them. He was ranked 16th on Hit Parader 's list of "Heavy Metal's All-Time Top 100 Vocalists".
